Home Instead are currently looking for caring, compassionate
individuals to join our team of Healthcare Assistants and to support
our clients in the comfort of their own home across Limerick & Clare.
Home Instead is Ireland's leading home care provider.
ROLE OF A CAREGIVER (NOT LIMITED TO)
* Assisting with personal care (hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming,
toileting)
* Assisting with practical tasks (light household work, meal
preparation)
* Assist with transfers and mobility
* Observing and reporting any changes in health or status of the
patient
* Ensure dignity, privacy and independence is maintained and
respected at all times
* Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
* Care giving experience preferable
* Completed or working towards achieving QQI Level 5 Care Skills and
Care of the Older Person or Full QQI award (preferred)
Due to the nature of the work a driving licence and car is required.
This is a necessity as the work is split across different client
locations.
